In 2019, I was one of 200 delegates selected in the WFUNA International Model United Nation Conferences held in UN Headquarters, New York, USA. I recognised the value of consensus-building argument and discussion. The goal is not to get all of your views onto the convention, but to actually build more robust ideas that consider all points that have been made and debate in good faith. I also had a chance to put myself in another person’s shoes to appreciate different views and the diversification. At the conference, I was the delegate of Colombia in the Commission on Population and Development with the topic “Changing Population Demographics and Sustainable Development”. I gave a speech about the strategies of Colombia in the demographic plan and some recommendations to reach the UN sustainable development goals.

In 2018, I was the invited guest speaker for Les Entretiens de l’Excellence au Vietnam. Les Entretiens de l’Excellence au Vietnam is an annual event organised by Les gens excellent – a non-governmental organisation, to provide career guidance to high school students before entering college. I am delighted to share my experiences and inspire 200 students in Hanoi. I always believe that giving is a gift, and I tried to give my full support to empower the young in their life and career.

Throughout my time in university, I did not limit myself only to academics. In 2017, aspiring to share the gained knowledge more creatively with the community, I came up with the idea of hosting a competition for students interested in solving business cases. In 2017, under my leadership, our club successfully organised the “Beyond The Case” competition, one of the first competitions for students interested in the business analysis field in Hanoi. We succeed to inspire more than 500 students all over Vietnam. Our competition also enables the businesses to promote their brand engagement and recruit outstanding candidates. Apart from the competition, our club also held seminars about Blockchain, Logistics and E-commerce topics.
